LA POESIA DEL TIEMPO EN IMAGEN
Este film busca recuperar el lenguaje mudo de la percepción. Este es el desafío al que se consagra este trabajo, la exploración del movimiento de la imagen y no la imagen del movimiento. En el diálogo entre la temporalidad y lo percibido en su extensión natural está la clave para entender esta propuesta, la paciente búsqueda de los materiales secretos que el arte cinematográfico aun no ha explorado en su profundidad. Este camino nos sumerge en la paradoja del tiempo asociada a la paradoja de la imagen y el sonido…
Es el tiempo, trabajado por la técnica del montaje, el momento donde el sonido dialoga con la imagen, para mostrar que por medio de la lógica temporal narrativa no podemos percibir el movimiento en su nacimiento original.

El Festival Glocal nace por la iniciativa conjunta de músicos electrónicos provenientes de distintas partes del orbe, con el objetivo de generar un encuentro y experiencia de nivel global en un contexto local, accesible para todo público. Tendremos la oportunidad de escuchar música de autor en un lugar único como es el Parque Cultural de Valparaíso, diversos lenguajes electrónicos actuales se presentarán entre los que podemos mencionar la Electrónica Orgánica, IDM, Dub, Krautrock, Ambient, Afro Beat , Shoegaze y Experimental, junto con intervenciones visuales de primer nivel.
El puerto de Valparaíso será la sede para este festival que pretende proyectarse de forma anual.
En esta ocasión podrán escuchar en vivo diversos exponentes latinoamericanos residentes en Europa y destacados artistas nacionales y regionales.

“Die politici, het zijn prutsers en zakkenvullers die niet weten waarover ze spreken.” Het is een gedachte die tijdens de politieke impasse en de crisis van het voorbije jaar waarschijnlijk wel bij iedereen eens is opgedoken. Maar kunnen we het eigenlijk zelf wel beter? Roger Bernat geeft je met ‘Pending Vote’ de kans om het uit te proberen. Neem zelf plaats in een parlementszetel en laat je stem horen. Geen politieke kleuren of partijen, geen verkozen parlementsleden, maar wel een reeks vragen en voorstellen die aan het publiek worden voorgelegd om uiteindelijk een regering te vormen.

Il teatro si trasforma in un Parlamento dove ogni spettatore, armato di un telecomando per votare, esercita funzioni di governo, in una camera di consiglio dove i colori politici sono ancora da definire. Nella politica corrente, la funzione del discorso non è piu’ quella di di persuadere qualcuno, mentre intanto le cose cambiano sotto la spinta di forme di potere invisibili e che non producono alla fine nessun dialogo. Proviamo a vedere che succederebbe se all’improvviso, in assenza di alcun potere effettivo, il discorso tornasse al suo valore politico iniziale, quello di strumento di persuasione. Forse l’ultima spiaggia della politica può essere la rimozione di ogni potere effettivo. Pendiente de voto vuole essere quest’ultima spiaggia. Non una versione finta del dibattito parlamentare reale, ma la versione reale del finto dibattito politico attuale. Non più politiche finzionali, ma politica della finzione: politici autentici contro i veri politicanti, o veri politici contro ogni forma di realpolitik.
The theater room is transformed into a Parliament where every single spectator, armed with a remote control device for voting, rules in a chamber hemicircle in which the political colours are yet to be defined. In current politics, the function of spoken language is to not convince anyone, meanwhile things change driven by powers that are not seen and that after all, don’t even produce dialogue. Let’s see what happens if suddenly, in the absence of any effective power, the role of the spoken word becomes once again that exquisite, originally political, tool to convince the listener.

How about making some decisions tonight?
Theatre becomes an audience-run parliament in Roger Bernat’s event. As he explained in one of his interviews,
theatre in his mind is a space where people come to reflect upon what it means to live in a certain society.
And this is what Bernat’s event is literally all about. The main characters are the audience members themselves,
who act as the driving force of action, since they are expected to use a voting device, to make choices and to
participate in a debate. Are you ready to play that game? Are you a Beatles or a Stones fan? What do the wheels
of democracy look like? Do we have any idea about what propels politics these days? A dialogue perhaps?
Arguments? Parties? Colours? The fight for rights? Money? One needs to look from up close and from within.
Therefore: enough with the pseudo-debates in real parliaments, tonight we’ll see a real debate in a pseudo-parliament.
An exercise in direct democracy, the one we’ve become estranged from and forgotten exists in the first place.
